My Murder by Katie Williams

dark funny mysterious sad medium-paced

2.5

-incredibly interesting premise; in a future world, a woman gets murdered by a serial killer, then is brought back (cloned) by a government program only to find out that she wasn't killed by him, so she sets out to solve her own murder
-writing style is a+, i loved how relatable/fun/sarcastic the MC was, world building was great
-marketed as a thriller, most def not. i would sayyyyyy women's lit/sci fi; book moreso dealt with the MC and her 4 other post murdered companions navigating their lives and emotions after being cloned
-it took til page 166 to get to the point where she finds out edward early wasn't her murderer, but we all knew that bc of the fucking synopsis of the book
-the ending!! are you kidding me!! be SO fucking for real right now. this truly woulda been a 5 star book otherwise
