i enjoyed a book written from a man’s pov and that is a very rare thing. i like andy a lot. i like jen too. i didn’t like the hat-tipping to covid, that as a reader i know andy doesn’t get the summer he’s hoping for. but i liked getting to know their love and their heartbreak and the slow way they piece themselves back together, or rather, find a path to their new selves. i’ve realized that’s the type of ending i like most. here’s to finding paths to our new selves.
