Outing the Mermaid: A Novel of Love, Fear & Misogyny by Ann Medlock
Did not finish book.
I received this book for free on my Kindle, so I don't feel bad about not finishing it. I read the first three chapters and didn't want to continue. The character is so vaguely described that she isn't very compelling, and the narration style is the sort that just tries too hard to be profound.
It may be that this book gets better further in, but as a busy reader, I don't have time to wait for that point. I have too many other things I want to read instead.
