Anatomy: A Love Story
by Dana Schwartz
My heart beats
A love story, but more importantly a story of female perservence. Id love to say it's merely historical but so many of the challenges for women in 1800s ring true for today, but I love Hazel's gumption and resolute passion.
It's a little Shelly, but in a way that inspires the science fiction/horror, rather than feels like some sort of retelling. It's gorgeous. Only sad I picked it up before the partner book Immortality is out next month.
