Another fun, flirty story featuring two characters with striking chemistry, a touch of magic, and an action-packed ending! The perfect escapism I needed, delivered in a thrilling, well written fashion.
Colleen reminded me a little bit of Catwoman, and she is one of my favourite heroes of the series so far. I found her to be strong, clever, and resourceful. Nick is charming, thoughtful, and intelligent, which made him a great romantic interest for Colleen. They had a great, steamy romance and were my favourite part of the story. Add in some delightfully evil villains, some intense twists, and an intense ending that had me hooked until the final moment.
A great bit of escapism and fun for anyone looking for a short, adventurous, passionate, exciting read!
