‼️‼️ spoiler, alert‼️‼️

Very good book. I look forward to reading more by this author. To be honest I would have given it a 5 star but the book started out slow and a bit confusing at 1st. Well to be honest I was going to DNF it.

Yet at the 40% mark was were it picked up and I could not get enough of the book. It was  fast paced and I enjoyed the pov of both the MC.

Another issue that I found in this book was that there was a major stereotype on the MMC, in the book, the character is described as being brown skin, and I’m assuming that he is black or mixed race that includes black (in the TV show he is cast as a black man) and the MMC has a brother that is in jail(falsely accused) and he was raised by a single mother, who has a string of different boyfriend who are abusive. So he has mommy issues. ( this was said exactly in the book.) as a woman of color reading this book do you have to say it threw me off a bit. I was enjoying reading the story about the MMC and then the whole my brothers in jail threw me off and then the whole I have mommy issues threw me off as well.  But in between that, this book is excellent well written I had a good time reading it it’s just those quick stereotypes which we really did not need. But what can we do.

This is a well written book, I love the diversity in the book it is funny and sweet and quite an enjoyable read. I think a lot of people will like it, but I also want to make aware that there are a few stereotypes in this book.

Other than that, this is a Good book I would recommend
