Unreal. Muir unabashedly launches herself at this sequel, and I had an absolute ride of a time trying to keep up. As an exploration of grief, it very nearly tips over into heavy-handedness, but it pulls it out in the end. As an exploration of psychosis, it sticks the landing. I was deeply confused for most of this book, but okay with it, and mostly curious about how the last two books in this series are going to pull all of these threads together.

Truly, this series has catapulted into favorite book territory. I'm overcome with emotion and I have no regrets. Thank you.
