The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley

Well I’ve officially read three books by this author in as many days. And you’d think I’d be tired of them but I’m not.

This book followed a much different structure to The Hunting Party and The Guest List, but I loved it all the same. It was just as atmospheric and enthralling as the other two.

The only thing I really want to touch on is that I think I realized why I like these books so much, and it’s something I’ve read other people complaining about. I love how it skips around from one POV to the other throughout. This way, I feel like you get to know each character more intimately. I find so often that in books with only one or two POVs that the other characters get the short end of the stick and they get pushed to the sidelines with you never really getting to know them that well.

Anyway… onto The Invitation. Then I think it’ll be time for a little bit of a Lucy Foley break even though I’ve loved all of her books so far ;)
