oh this was GOOD good wow. i can’t say i was super invested in Sloane and Xavier before i read their book but as soon as i started this, i was locked in.
she really wrote interesting and complex characters with layers to their personality and i was so genuinely surprised by how well they both were written. this is hands down once of her best books and it shows in the writing.
