This was such a fun read! Until now, I had never heard of the LitRPG genre and now I’m so glad I have. Because, well, I’m a nerd.
This genre isn’t like other books. It’s very heavy in the terminology heavily used in RPGs and video games, and it’s a lot about the main character getting through boss battles and making it through alive.
However, from a story telling arc, there are hints of something much larger going on than the dungeon within the intergalactic universe and also subtle hints about how the dungeon itself may play with morality, and I appreciate these themes.
I loved the humor in the book, too. It’s a laugh out loud kind of read. And I promise if anything happens to Donut I will personally find this author…
Can’t wait to read the next one! The voice actor also did an amazing job!
