The Richest Man in Babylon (Original Classic Edition)
by George S. Clason
funny
hopeful
informative
fast-paced
I would give it a million stars if I could!
The parables were not only inspiring and instructional but fun to read. My favorite part would have to be the last chapter about making work your best friend. For the past few weeks, I have been hating my job and unappreciative of it. After reading about Sharru Nada, I have come to see my job in a new light. The account of the camel trader is still very relevant today as well—practical and easy enough to follow.
I would highly suggest this book to every young adult who is starting out on their careers and building financial independence. Who would have thought that principles that were in effect thousands of years ago can still prove to be empowering in the present day?
