Ana's Trial by Dan C. Thompson

5.0

I devoured this short story, and I desperately want more. Pre Pharaonic Egypt is a period seldom discussed, and poses the perfect world for a story such as Ana's.

As a character, Ana proves to be relatable and expressive, her storytelling capturing readers. For this story, there could not have been a more perfect narrator.

The familial elements in this story prove superb, as well as Ana's backstory. I sincerely hope that this could serve as the start to a thrilling epic, as I desperately want to hear more about Ana and her tribe.
