First time reading this enchanting tale and I fell in love with Heidi’s ever joyful character and exuberance. Despite all the hardships she’s been through in her tender young age, she still kept all her jubilant and positive disposition in life, her natural curiosity and innocence and most importantly all her experiences have led her to a strong faith in GOD.

Johanna Spyri is truly a brilliant word-weaver and throughout her masterpiece I was swept away in her luscious and vivid descriptions of the beautiful Alps and all the surrounding sceneries. She was so good at painting our imaginations that I found myself longing to live where Heidi spent her days. 

It was quite a nostalgic and memorable read and I look forward to reading it over and over again, GOD-willing.
