Okay o i actually read this book before Reckless because i was sooo excited to read Beau´s story. I don´t know if it was smart but the book did not really match my excitment. Like right now i have Cade on a high and compare him with every other brother but even Beau, literal Soldies, could not compete.

At first i really liked her, she was like a breath of fresh air, knows what she wants and says whatever is on her mind. Like literally the questions she was asking Beau had me shook haha. But i loved that.

BUT! the one scene that really did it for me as in made me view this book in a different light was the shaving scene. i don´t know if we were meant to find this hot, or if there are people who liked this scene maybe i am even the only person who found this scene extremely uncomfortable and weird! just the imaginations of the hair and stuff in the water and in general just the set up. I maybe would have found it okay if they were already like together yk wife and husband, boyfriend and girlfriend. But yea this scene defo was like a switch for me. I felt as though i could not read the book the same way anymore.
All of a sudden she became too much, he became too much and their drama/angst not nearly enough.
i am actually kind of sad cause i really wanted to like beau and don´t get me wrong i like him, but this scene hahaha
