First off, the art is beautiful, I've read other comics illustrated by Tim Sale, but what really makes this art is the coloring, props to Bjarne Hansen completely. The story is amazing, as well, we see the life of Clark in four seasons narrated by other characters like Pa Kent and Lois Lane, and they're all so good. I love when comic writers make clear that the man behind Superman is what makes his character so great, Clark is a Midwestern man who makes time to see his parents, he is a good man who helps people out of the sheer goodness of his heart, and this comic makes that so clear throughout.
