this book was so much fun to read and the conflicts weren’t heavy enough to make me want to rip my hair out. mariko took a classic story of an injured athlete learning to live life with their injury and continue to enjoy their passion. as both a ballerina and a musical enjoyer i found this book to be a very entertaining story that also has some very real and important undertones. this book perfectly masters the way of feeling like a light read while not shying away from the tough topics that are brought up. absolutely adored it.
