This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen

4.0

Just finished this book a few days ago, and at first, I'll admit I was kind of unimpressed with the story. First it was quite mature, which meant it was very different from Sarah's other stories( What Happened To Goodbye, Just Listen, etc) but as I got further into the story, I realized what made the story different, also made the story amazing!!!!!!!

I mean, I haven't read all of Sarah's books, but I have read quite a few of her's, and I would never have expected a story of love, loss, and hesitation to take a chance, that touched me quite like Remy and Dexter. Their story is unique, genuine, and lovely, and it makes you want to take a chance at love and not hold back out of fear.

My next Sarah Dessen book is Lock and Key, and I hope that it delivers the same surprising, yet enjoyable, romantic connection that made me fall in love with This Lullaby.

One more thing for people who take the time to read my reviews (thank you, by the way:)) I would like to send a little RIP to the family, friends, and fans of Robin Williams, who sadly committed suicide a few days ago. I loved him and his work, and I know I am not alone when I say that his warmth and energy will be missed. Thank you
