The Widow
by Fiona Barton
This is a slow-burning page-turner that is very well written! Alternating points of view show the secrets that can exist in a marriage, the grieving of a mother whose toddler has gone missing, as well as the process of the detective and the reporter on the case. I had to find out what happened to the missing toddler and what exactly the Widow knew about it. I would recommend this one for anyone who enjoys "domestic noir." - Michelle V.
