I saw this book on tiktok and wanted to see what it was all about. I read Nero first and it is best to start there, as this book follows on. King and savannah meet by chance and the events that follow are one of King's making. Be it the threat to his way of life and the alliance or just the fact he wants savannah for himself. It doesn't matter in the long run as king will get what he wants. Savannah was just in the wrong place at the right time, and only time together with king will prove that. I love their banter and the household staff. We see a jokey side to Nero as he gets back at king and savannah finally has a person in her life that will always be in her corner. Great read. Looking forward to Dom.
