So this is the first time I'm reading something by this author and the humour in this story had me laughing out loud! Like there were some serious situations too but the humour overpowered it all, which I really liked. Nevaeh and Anxo together were so cute and adding August to the mix was like a cherry on top. He was just so ridiculously adorable and I would've loved it if we had more scenes with him. Also, the side characters were very good and I loved Grace, Hazel, Seiji and Harvey very much! I knew that some of them were going to be each other's mates and
it was not not much of a surprise that Grace & Harvey were mates but the one thing I didn't see coming was Hazel and Nevaeh's papa's meeting. Their relationship seemed so fun by the way it was described and I can't wait to see if they'll get their own book in this series!
Overall, this was a fun read but I struggled to move forward in some chapters because there was so much detailing and I was kinda bored at times, so I skimmed through some parts tbh. Still, I enjoyed reading the book and the last part was very entertaining.
