There was something about this book that just didn’t hit home. Even though I didn’t guess the ending like I thought I had, it still wasn’t as shocking or satisfying as I’d hope it would be. I found a lot of the characters’ behaviors annoying and unlikeable which probably impacted my ability to like the book as a whole. It wasn’t terrible and extra points for the ending not being predictable, but still didn’t hit the mark for me.
