I’ll be honest- this was my least favorite of the series so far. Normally, pregnancy tropes are a win for me (especially now that I’m pregnant myself), but this one came close to breaking the streak.

The spice? 🔥 Definitely hot and heavy. But Hannah and Daniel as a couple? They just gave me the ick. Daniel’s obsession with her crossed into uncomfortable territory, while Hannah spent a big chunk of the book teasing him and swearing she could never settle down. Then - bam - a complete 180, and suddenly they’re head-over-heels, forever-and-always. The shift felt rushed, and I never really felt the emotional build to back it up.

The only real connection I could see between them was physical, which made it hard to care about them as a couple. The early banter was fun, but it lost some of its wit as the story went on. Hannah on her own? Entertaining and funny. But together, they never really won me over.

⭐ 2/5 stars
🌶 3.5/5 chili peppers

If you’ve loved the other Boston Bolts books, you might still enjoy this one for the spice factor alone—but for me, it missed the emotional mark.
