Easily the best book I read this year. I loved it! A high fantasy adventure where all the characters are over 40 and mostly women. The main character is short and stocky and its a throw away mention instead of paragraphs dedicated to voluptuous rolls. The story is fun and the magic has rules and limitations. Any potential romance is called out as unnecessary and put aside to deal with the task at hand because they are adults who can manage their emotions. I loved it from first page to last!
