I know I'm super late reading this! The Brethren was a really good read. Most of it moved at a pretty steady pace, though there were some points that were a little slow. Once the two stories merged, it really picked up. I'm conflicted about how the story ended. On one hand, it felt a bit anticlimactic. I wanted more action, I suppose. On the other hand, there was enough of a twist to give it an unexpected ending.
This is my third(?) John Grisham book and I'm looking forward to reading more!
