Captain Marvel has been taking some twists and turns I hadn’t expected, but so far I’ve been really loving it. I love that this series can still surprise me, after all these years. And that they can turn a plot I totally underestimated into something so huge. It’s impressive.
What I love most of all? This series is not ignoring Carol’s past. The best and the worst of her past are still canon, and they’re not afraid to pull them into the present. It’s making for some intense moments, but really that’s perfect for this series. I can’t wait to see where it goes.
I love the looks all the other characters in this series have established for themselves. Like Spider-Woman. Her new look is so tough! I love it.
