"Taste" was an engaging and enlightening memoir that really delivered on the subtitle "My Life Through Food." Stanley Tucci did in fact focus on the way in which food has always played a formative role in his life, and along the way he gave insight into both his career and personal life. He also gave us recipes, so take notes if you're looking for some apparently top-notch homemade Italian cuisine.
I will say that he didn't delve too deeply into his filmography or iconic roles; he focused mainly on Big Night and Julie & Julia since they revolved around food (again, see title of memoir), so if you're hoping to really get a behind-the-scenes look at his acting life you might be disappointed.
Highly recommend the audio version of this book, read by the author and narrated with all the dry humor and personality you'd expect.
