Definitely an interesting historical read. I liked Orwell's no-nonsense approach to socialism, with the focus on pragmatic ways to grow the movement rather than getting bogged down in ideological squabbles. His is oft-repeated views that "vegetarians and feminists" were driving "ordinary people" away from socialism were obviously silly, and he comes off as an asshole.
