Amelia Earhart by Maria Isabel Sánchez Vegara

4.0

I love this series, it provides a great introduction to biographies for preschoolers. Most juvenile biographies are written for older children so this one gets a few stars in my book just because the intended audience is much younger. The illustrations are especially lovely in this one and suit the simple text well. I like that it doesn't dwell on or skirt around Amelia Earhart's tragic end and that despite it, the author ends with a positive message about following your dreams.
