I enjoyed this book! It's a cozy mystery, and a quick read that hit the right notes. Newcomer in a small town. Everyone knows everyone. Herbal shop. And of course, a little murder.

I enjoyed the characters and the premise, and it kept me guessing until the end. Bonus points for having a main character that's 54. I've been reading waaaay too many books with teens and early 20 somethings and feeling like an old fart so this was a refreshing change of pace. 🥴

Also, cat.

It's a pretty straight forward read as cozy murder mysteries go. I didn't love how the reveal was written. No shocking twists IMO, mostly because
the author did such a job making most everyone seem guilty, that I was okay with almost any of them being the murderer, lol
