The story is over told. But this is another great classic racist version of the story on perspective. If you can manage to ignore the tropes and don’t research the authors comments about the native culture represented in her book, it’s a basic story that is written in soothing prose. Likely that contributes to the rose colored glasses many ppl read this through. Overall I do not recommend.
