Vingt mille lieues sous les mers
by Jules Verne
From all the Jules Verne book I've read, this one is the one I liked the least. Yes, there are still some fantastic adventures, visuals, and imaginative tech and science. Yes, the story is well written and keeps you wanting for more, the characters are fine. However, there is a lot of fluff - a lot of the book is just describing the marine lifestyle and there are some plot points that go nowhere. It's a good book, but there are better Verne books out there.
