Couldn't put it down! Lovely book with characters that I wanted to spend more time with.

I originally gave it 4.5 thinking that because I sped through it I was biased. Nope. Still thinking about it and don't really want to read anything else. The author's use of the Philadelphia Story sneaks in way more than I first thought.
Obvi Gabe and Chani are Tracy and Dex. We can reasonably assume Tracy's alcoholism, Chani and Dex work for magazines who do profiles on celebrities. But the real kicker!!! GABE AS GODDESS. They are both put on a pedestal and just want to be treated like people. Chani functions as a George/Mike hybrid in the beginning but not as far as either of them; she sees Gabe's humanity much earlier. And a fun little poke with Lena as Liz getting romanced by the actor who plays Mike in the remake.
