The book that finally pulled me out of my age-long reading slump. Great cast of characters full of plenty of unexpected twists, and a much larger body count than I thought it would have. I also really liked the writing style where Osman combined Joyce’s first-person account along with the third-person accounts of the other characters. Anyway, this was a very fun murder mystery and will definitely check out the sequels!

Gives off similar vibes to Only Murders in the Building, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, and The Bletchley Circle if we’re to compare it to tv series. I saw they’re making it a film and I can totally picture it.
