The Disasters by M.K. England
4.0
I got The Disasters from a book subscription box. I had already seen posts on Instagram and I was immediately intrigued because YA sci-fi is my jam.
The story has a diverse cast of characters who are all unique and compelling in their own way. The concept of a bunch of misfits taking on a corrupt organization is always entertaining, and I like the real, human flaws and fears that these characters had. The dialogue felt authentic, and I enjoyed the different cultures described on the colonies.
The Disasters is a fun read, and worth checking out if you enjoy sci-fi! (I think people who aren’t fans of sci-fi could still enjoy it too, for the dynamic between the characters.)
