Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.

I didn’t like Addison at all. She thinks that she’s falling in love with Gabe, but then breaks up with him right when an opportunity presents itself for them to have a relationship. I didn’t understand that at all. Also, she says that she loves her daughter… and then goes on to list all the reasons why she’s a burden, how she doesn’t want to take care of her, and how her life would be better if she didn’t have a daughter. 

Not much is mentioned about Cooper, but suddenly in the next part of the chapter where Addison talked about her daughter, Gabe’s mother and brother tell him that he’s not a good dad. It felt sudden and forced, as if the author only did this to balance the characters out.
