The Last Night of the Earth Poems by Charles Bukowski

Did not finish book. Stopped at 13%.

The prose itself is fine and can be touching at times but I also learned about the author while reading these poems. I have a hard time separating the artist from the art so I wasn't able to finish. I would recommend to read this novel prior to learning about Bukowski and his social beliefs if you have the same pattern of thinking. Might return later but ultimately it was not compelling enough to have me finish at this time.
