Dammit that was so good!! Jacquotte Delahaye is a shipwright and following her father's death, a pirate. Fighting against homophobia, sexism, racism, and male stupidity, Jacquotte and her friends fight to stay alive and together in this found family historical fiction pirate novel. I adored the writing of this book. The first couple chapters are introductory but they still manage to be exciting and well paced. Once you hit %20 of the book its back to back action and emotion. I adored the twists and relationships built. I'm not sure how rooted in realism this is but I love the style and this was a fun and engaging book.
