This was a heartbreaking love story. Tyler and Holly didn't have the same explosive chemistry as Tor and Kenzie, but I was still emotionally invested in their relationship. I loved how gruff, anti-social Tyler was softened by Holly and how much care he took with her. Holly's story was gut-wrenchingly tragic and it was interesting watching how she emerged into adulthood without having had a childhood. 

This duology is fantastic and I highly recommend both books.
