This felt like really surface level. But that was mainly due to the writing. Not that it was bad or awful. It was just white, straight, rich and beautiful people having an existential crisis and having access to drugs and money. However, I appreciate how each of the three main women had a different approach to motherhood and marriage. There was a woman with both, a woman with the kids but not the marriage and one with neither who was happy about it. I liked that. The book was set in the 70’s and the author very much showed what majority of that time era was like for the people like the characters that she wrote. I guess Ive just heard that story told a lot. Other than that, it’s a decent read
