I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

Jennette McCurdy is very courageous in the writing of this autobiographical book. The trauma she suffered at the hands of her narcissistic mother is evident in all facets of her adult life. Her writing is solid and I enjoyed listening to her reading the audiobook - hearing her choke up discussing her first breakthrough with her therapist is very affecting. Overall not a groundbreaking work of literature but an interesting read and insight into child acting and emotional child abuse.
