I have been an Ava Hunter fan since her debut with sing me home, and let me tell you, her books are SO GOOD. This is book 3 in the Runaway Ranch series and follows Ford Montgomery and country superstar Reese Austin. When Reese reaches burnout and overwhelm on tour, she is recommended to get away to Runaway Ranch. From the beginning of her time here, things between her and Ford are explosive and full of chemistry ✨

This book explores Reese’s mental health journey and has themes of depression and PTSD, which I felt was done really well. Please check trigger warnings before reading this one if you’re concerned as there are some more difficult themes. Although Ava always writes these with respect.
