I enjoyed this one more than the 2nd book but the first book is still the best in my opinion. I liked that this book didn’t also focus on women in abusive relationship but instead made the mystery a family issue. Most of the action doesn’t occur until the last 3rd of the book, but it has a really good plot twist at the end!
I thought Nico had killed the neighbor, not Ada, and I enjoyed that Martha made a small final appearance at the end and was also involved in the murder.
Overall a good and quick read!
