Struggled between rating this 3.75 or 4.0 but even though certain aspects weren’t my favorite I can’t deny it is an extremely well written book and fleshed out world. I think there were enough hints (not quite foreshadowing though) that that would happen to Lan but I was surprised just how much book there was left after. The ending was a bit…flat as I completely thought it would keep going. Will probs read the wiki of for the series and eventually read them all
