The Secret Adversary
by Agatha Christie
This is much more of an adventure story than mystery. I kept thinking that this could easily have been written by someone like pulp writer extraordinaire, [a:Walter B. Gibson|8626|Walter B. Gibson|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1244379125p2/8626.jpg]. The protagonists, Tommy and Tuppence, are charmingly naive. The identity of the villain seemed fairly obvious to me, but Christie obfuscated his identity with misleading information and lots of action.
