The Dark Side of the Enlightenment: Wizards, Alchemists, and Spiritual Seekers in the Age of Reason by John V. Fleming

I'll admit, I was disappointed about the lack of occulty-woo to shock and titillate. But I love religious history in general so I was mostly ok with all the context and the two biographical sketches that make up the latter half of the book. Left thinking "why?" and "you should have read the blurb idiot" mostly.
