Bared to You
by Sylvia Day
Quite boring
I'm not entirely sure how this book gets lumped in with fifty shades of grey, other than maybe they're both erotic romances? The style of writing (grammar, sentence structure) are better than fifty shades but the plot is worse and the vocabulary is off-putting. Everything about this story was just so vanilla; from the sex scenes (which are pretty much all boring missionary) to the storyline, to the word choice (who the heck refers to their lady bits as their 'cleft'??), I found myself constantly fighting yawns. There's no real connection developed between the main characters, all their interactions are stale and repetitious (not even close to the vibe in fifty shades), and there's no discernable build up or climax in the plot. The book just kind of bumped along until it ended; I was actually very confused for a second at the end, is it supposed to be some kind of cliff hanger? I know there's a second book but that's only because Amazon told me lol. Can't say I'd recommend this book and I can't figure out what everyone's gushing about.
