The Good Sister by Sally Hepworth

5.0

 My Review…. 6 ⭐️

Rarely does a book deserve six stars in my opinion, but this is one. The only other book I can relate this to is The Push in greatness. (Not plot)
I can’t even formulate a review because it was just that good. The book grit me from the beginning and had me in its chokehold through the whole novel. I needed to know what happened and when I found out what happened I was satisfied.
To say I love this book was an understatement.

What worked: EVERYTHING. I loved the flipping of perspectives from ferns POV to roses diary. I love the back-and-forth, I love learning about their history, and I loved the unreliable narrator trope.
I Absolutely love the quirkiness of fern and the relationship between fern and Rose was so interesting to read.

Synopsis: Fern works in her local library. She has dinner with her twin sister, Rose, three nights a week. And she avoids crowds, bright lights, and loud noises as much as possible. Firm has a carefully structured life and disrupting that routine can be dangerous..
When Rose discovers that she cannot get pregnant, Francies her chance to pay her sister back for everything Rose has done for her. Fern can have a baby for us. She just needs to find a father. Simple.
Ferns mission will shake the foundation of the life she’s carefully built for herself and strep dark secrets in the past and it’s riveting, Rich, and shocking mystery of unexpected love.
@sallyhepworth you have KNOCKED it out of the park.
