I feel like I could reread this book 3 times and still pick up things I hadn’t before. Kingsolver is a psycho genius author. The sheer intelligence she has to have to be able to write these characters is beyond me. The writing was so so so good. It was like a 600 page poem. Honestly the first time I’ve read a book and been so enthralled by the writing, not the story. It helped, though, that the story was wildly fascinating as well. Incredible
