If you're familiar with Humans of New York on the internet, you might be a little disappointed in this book (if you're not familiar with it, get thee to a computer!). The photos are just as beautiful (some are even more, because they're huge, and it's awesome). But the captions are a lot shorter, and many of the pictures are presented without comment. The best thing about HONY online is hearing people's stories, so I was sad to not get as much of that in the book. Still, it's really well done, and it was cool to get more of a sense of who Brandon is.
