Omega Fallen by Evelyn Flood
4.0
Many omegaverse books are low angst, sugary sweet stories of love and devotion. While this book has the latter in spades, this is not your typical omegaverse.
“Omega Fallen” features a homeless omega who is struggling to make ends meet. Not only is she poor, but she sleeps in alleyways and fishes for food out of the trash. In short, she’s nothing like your average spoiled omega. Truthfully, that’s what I enjoyed most about this book. For 80% of the story we’re watching Gabrielle work through her trauma and overcome her many obstacles. The alphas that she is connected to are gentle, thoughtful, and more of all patient. They all fit with each other perfectly.
It’s nice to read about an omega who has hard a rough life to remind you that happiness is something you work towards, not simply be given. While this is the last story in this series, I feel as if many of the loose ends were tied. This is a very satisfying conclusion and I’m so happy to have revisited this world for a little while!
